Welcome to my world! I hope you will enjoy your stay.
So, a little bit about my personal life. Besides graduating from the
Second Language
Acquisition / Instructional Technology Ph.D. Program (http://www.coedu.usf.edu/slait)
at the University of South Florida, which basically was both my personal
and professional life for the past five and a half years, I am happily
married and have two sons who will be 10 and 12 this year. We are currently
residing in Slovenia. My sons have lived in the United States; and both
speak/understand both languages: English and Slovene. My older son,
Mark, is attending sixth grade of a nine year elementary school and
my younger son, Alex, is in an inclusive mainstream third grade with
special needs support.
Whenever I get a chance (a few extra minutes to myself) I enjoy spending
time with my family; walking in the countryside; reading, reading, reading
(mainly non-fiction); surfing the net-- researching what is new 'out
there', finding new resources, and learning about computer augmentative
devices; and, of course, working on my website.
