my.research
Mainly from my personal experiences of language learning, I have been quite intrigued on the internal processes that learners progress through and the factors that influence progression of language learning and acquisition. Reflecting these experiences, my research has focused on language learners interactions, teacher training, foreign language methodology, language learners with special education needs, electronic communications, as well as technology enhanced language learning (TELL). See Curriculum Vitae for a list of publications.
My most recent research has been for my doctoral dissertation entitled: "CALLing All Learners: An Explanatory Integrative Research Study of EFL Learner-Learner Corrective Feedback Patterns Within an Online Synchronous Enviornment". This research centers on corrective feedback patterns of adolescent learners of English as a foreign language with and without special education needs in a delayed synchrounous text-based chat tool. Below is a link to the abstract of the study, as well as a PowerPoint with Audio of the study. For the complete dissertation, please visit the Dissertation Abstracts Index.
